Touch-activated faucets make it easy for you to wash your dirty hands

When you've got your hands dirty, it can always be quite hard to turn the knob off your tap, without fumbling, or getting it dirty too. Delta's new "Pilar" faucets feature their Touch20 touch-sensitive technology that lets you simply tap or touch them to turn the water on or off.

The faucets use two touch sensors which are located in the handle and the spouts to detect when you've touched them, but surprisingly are smart enough to know when it's been grabbed instead - so as to not turn water on and off when you try and adjust its positions.

The Pilar faucet is available at prices that start from US$547.
