Grace Digital Audio has developed Aqua Sounders, a cool new device that lets you enjoy music at your pool parties without the danger of mixing water and electronics.


These floating speakers, completely waterproof and submersible, are connected wirelessly to a transmitter dock which holds your iPod, or any other MP3 player.


The transmitter can be connected to up to 10 extra speakers within a range of up to 150 feet - good enough to be used when you're swimming in the sea, a distance away from the beach.


Aqua Sounders are being sold online at the somewhat reasonable price of US$149.99.

Just try not to be tempted to use it for a game of dodgeball or water polo.
