The move will see Lego team up with US based electronics firm Digital Blue to create the gadgets, aimed at youngsters aged between 7 and 11.
These devices will all feature the distinctive classic Lego look and will cost between £14 to £40.
This project follows Lego's successful move in recent years of attracting tech-savvy youngsters to their toys with the introduction of their Mindstorms range, which featured state of the art robots that children can build and program by themselves.
